IT Project Manager Team Leader – Senior Project Manager – Business Change Project Manager Team Manager – Senior Applications Project Manager Team Lead – Prince 2 is required by a leading personal finance organisation based close to Epsom, Surrey with Home Working 3 days a week and 2 days based in the Office.
I am looking for an IT Project Manager Team Leader – Senior Project Manager – Senior Software Project Manager Team Leader that is Prince 2 qualified and has previously worked in the personal finance, asset management or personal banking sector.
You will be responsible for delivering medium and large-scale IT Software / Application change projects and managing project teams which may be a mixture of IT, Business and Vendor resources. This person will manage multiple IT from initiation through to delivery, by defining and managing the scope, securing resources and agreeing and applying governance and a delivery methodology to the scale and complexity of change and manging Project Teams – Including People Management – Mentoring , One-2-ones etc.
The key responsibilities are to:
- Manage projects and change requests from initiation to implementation and closure
- Managing projects teams of between 3 and 20 plus team members – Including People management – One-to-one and formalised reviews and objective setting via Preview process
- Agree, define, document and maintain the scope of the project or change
- Identify skill requirements and secure resources to meet the agreed scope within a matrix management environment.
- Define and agree to an appropriate governance structure for each project or change to ensure all senior stakeholders, IT and the business are all kept informed
Key skills for this Senior IT Project Manager – Senior Project Manager are:
- Strong delivery experience in medium to large scale software applications projects
- Experience in Managing Small Project Teams
- Managing multiple projects at different stages of the project lifecycle
- Experience in working with and managing external suppliers to meet project deadlines
- Experience in delivery projects with various project delivery methodologies i.e. Waterfall and Agile, DSDM, Prince 2.
- Budget forecasting, resource management and financial control
- Experience in delivering projects in systems and software development life cycles
- Experience in project management tools
- Prince 2 Practitioner with strong Stakeholder management experience
My client is based in a modern office close to Epsom, Surrey and due to the unique location, you will need to be a car driver as my client’s site is not easily accessible by public transport.
