Reflex are finding that there is a still a shortage of experienced and qualified IT & Technical staff at all levels. This is highlighted by a Labour Market Tracker report published by the Recruitment & Employment Confederation (REC) earlier this month which reported a high number of live job Adverts for 2022. They comment that the rising number of active postings overall likely reflects job adverts being left open for longer, with employers across the country struggling to attract candidates for their vacancies. Therefore, despite labour shortages, rising inflation and energy costs, there is no sign that the jobs market is starting to shrink.
